Blyth M.
Private tutor in Hagerstown, MD
Education
I started a second career in the shelter industries in 2002 after many years in the business world, earning my AA degree in Interior Architecture and Design. I completed my BA in Art History at Mansfield University and carried a 4.0 average while operating my own interior design firm.
Experience
My very first job was as a private tutor of Latin back in 1983! I have been hooked on sharing knowledge ever since. My love of learning and my belief in the value of education permeates everything I do. I tutored learning disabled students during my time studying at Montgomery College, Rockville MD in the late 1980s; more recently I served as a tutor of English and basic math at Delaware Technical and Community College in Georgetown, DE. I belong to American Mensa (accepted in 1990) and frequently participate in ideation projects contracted through Mensa for major companies throughout the US. It helps keep my thinking fresh and keeps me up on new trends and technology as well. Since 1992 I have taught classes for adults on a wide range of topics including Sacred Geometry, Feng Shui, and the History of Colors.
